Our 2026 price
Pure Irrigation is running a 2026 special of $125 (regularly $149) for a residential sprinkler blow-out, anywhere in our Salt Lake County and Utah County service area. That covers every zone on a typical home system.
Very large properties, commercial sites and HOAs are quoted separately because of the number of zones and the time involved. We tell you the price before we come out.
What should be included
A professional blow-out is more than hooking up a hose. Every visit should include:
- A commercial air compressor sized to clear your whole system
- Each zone blown out until it runs dry, not just once
- The backflow drained and left in the correct winter position
- Your controller set to off or rain mode so it does not run over winter
- A quick note of anything broken so you can plan spring repairs
What affects the price
Most companies price by system size and access. Things that can raise the cost include a large number of zones, a hard-to-find or buried connection point, a system with no blow-out port, and properties that need more than one compressor.
Some companies advertise a very low base price and then add per-zone charges. Ask for the total before the visit so there are no surprises.
Why the cheapest blow-out can cost more
An under-powered compressor, or a rushed visit, leaves water in the low spots of your lines. That water freezes and cracks pipes and fittings, and you do not find out until spring. A backflow replacement or a mainline repair costs far more than the difference between a cheap blow-out and a thorough one.

Most home systems take 30 to 45 minutes.
Do I need to be home for my blow-out?
Usually not, as long as we can reach the connection point and your controller. We will let you know if we need access to the garage or the house.
